A las 10:30 a.m., personas de todos los ámbitos de la vida que asistieron a la ceremonia se pararon frente a la estatua del Sr. Sun Yat-Sen en silencio y se inclinaron tres veces. Wang Yong, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Zheng Jianbang, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and Chairman of the Central Committee of the China Democratic League, Chen Xu, Deputy Minister of the Central United Front Work Department, represented the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Sun Shuo, Deputy Mayor of Beijing, represented the El gobierno municipal de Beijing, Wang Hong, vicepresidente del Comité Central de la Liga Democrática de China y presidente del Comité Municipal de Beijing de la Liga Democrática de China, presentó una canasta de flores a la estatua del Sr. Sun Yat-Sen en nombre del Comité Municipal de Beijing del Comité Revolucionario Kuomintang.
