CCTV News (News Broadcast): Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on August 9 showed that in July, the consumer price index (CPI), which reflects eight categories of commodities including residents’ basic necessities, including food, clothing, housing and transportation, rose by 0.5% year-on-year, with a moderate increase.Among them, the prices of grains, fresh vegetables, fresh fruits and other food products decreased slightly year-on-year, while the prices of services such as housekeeping services and catering outside the home increased, and the increase was generally stable.

From the perspective of production, in July, the industrial producer price index (PPI) rose by 3.5% year-on-year. Affected by input factors such as the correction of international crude oil prices, the year-on-year increase in PPI fell back.
