Today (August 9), reporters learned from CNOOC that the first 100-billion-square-meter gas field in Bohai Sea, my country's Bozhong 19-6 gas field phase I development project, was fully put into production, with a daily oil and gas equivalent output of over 5,200 tons.The project's commissioning is of great significance to optimizing the regional energy structure and promoting high-quality economic and social development.
The Bozhong 19-6 gas field is located in the central Bohai Sea, with proven natural gas geological reserves exceeding 200 billion cubic meters and proven petroleum liquid geological reserves exceeding 200 billion cubic meters.The gas field has a burial depth of more than 5,000 meters, oil and gas reservoirs are widely distributed, and the reservoir types are complex, making development more difficult than conventional offshore oil and gas fields.
my country's natural gas reserves are distributed in a pattern of "more in the west and less in the east". As the largest gas field in eastern my country, Bozhong 19-6 has cumulatively produced more than 2.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas. It is an important force in ensuring the stable supply of natural gas in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Bohai Rim regions.At the critical period of peak summer, the Phase I development project is fully put into operation to further meet the energy needs of regional residents and industrial production.
In accordance with the development strategy of "overall deployment, phased development, and testing first", the drilling project of the Bozhong 19-6 gas field phase II development project has been fully launched, which will further enhance the supporting role of offshore oil and gas in domestic energy supply.
