On July 23, Yan Dong, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce of China, said at a press conference of the State Council Information Office that in the first half of the year, the number of newly established foreign-invested enterprises in China increased by 5.3% year-on-year, and the amount of investment attracted was 402.14 billion yuan.The investment structure was further optimized, with investment in high-tech industries increasing by 33.2% year-on-year, accounting for 42.4%.Foreign capital continues to be optimistic about the Chinese market, and nearly 4,800 foreign-funded companies made additional investments in China in the first half of the year.
