China international routes have reached 263 cities around the world

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing (Reporter Wang Yuhao) Han Jun, deputy director of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, introduced at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office on July 21 that my country’s international route network has reached 263 cities in 90 countries and regions around the world, including all-cargo flights to 162 cities in 70 countries and regions.

"In 2025, the cargo and mail transportation volume of the entire civil aviation industry will exceed 10 million tons for the first time, of which 4.4 million tons are completed on international routes. Six domestic airports, including Shanghai Pudong, Guangzhou Baiyun, Shenzhen Bao'an, Beijing Capital, Ezhou Huahu and Zhengzhou Xinzheng, are among the top 30 cargo airports in the world." Han Jun said that my country's international air cargo scale has grown steadily and its support capabilities have been significantly enhanced.

International air cargo is an important support for the transformation and upgrading of the service industry chain and supply chain, and the opening up of high-level services.Han Jun said that during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, the Civil Aviation Administration of China will actively build an air cargo system that is accessible, diverse, resilient, safe and reliable, improve professional and intensive service capabilities, and promote the healthy and orderly development of international air cargo.
