In response to U.S. President Trump's "China interference in the U.S. election" argument in his speech, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said at a regular press conference on the 17th that the relevant claims from the U.S. were purely fabricated and malicious smears, and have long been proven to be nonsense.
Lin Jian said that China has always adhered to the principle of non-interference in internal affairs. It has no interest and has never interfered in US elections. On the contrary, the international community can clearly see who is arbitrarily interfering in the internal affairs of other countries, monitoring governments, companies, and ordinary people around the world indiscriminately for a long time, and stealing the data of citizens of other countries on a large scale."We urge the U.S. to reflect on itself, stop unreasonably smearing China, not to make trouble with China in the election, and do more things that are conducive to Sino-U.S. relations."
