News from CCTV: According to the Ministry of Emergency Management, recently, due to the impact of typhoons, heavy rainfall has occurred in many regions such as East China, South China, North China, and Northeast my country, causing serious dangers and disasters.In order to thoroughly implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on flood prevention and disaster relief, on July 14, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Emergency Management urgently allocated 430 million yuan in central natural disaster relief funds to support 10 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) including Guangxi, Zhejiang, Hebei, Liaoning, Tianjin, Heilongjiang, Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi, and Sichuan to carry out emergency rescue and disaster relief work for flood prevention and typhoon prevention.Among them, on the basis of the initial allocation of 190 million yuan, an additional 150 million yuan has been allocated to support Guangxi in continuing to focus on the resettlement of disaster-stricken people, transitional living assistance, and repair of damaged houses, so as to promote the restoration of normal production and living order in the disaster area as soon as possible; an additional 280 million yuan has been allocated to support the remaining 9 provinces (cities) in coordinating emergency response such as search and rescue, relocation and resettlement of disaster-stricken personnel, hazard elimination, and carrying out secondary disaster hazard investigation and emergency rectification to minimize disaster losses.
