Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, July 10 (Reporter Dong Xue) In response to the so-called "China squeeze" concept proposed by some international media recently, China's manufacturing capabilities not only "impact" Western countries, but also "crowd out" the industrialization development space of countries in the global South. When answering questions at a regular press conference on the 10th, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said that the so-called "China squeeze" is obviously not consistent with the facts, and countries in the global South will not agree with this statement.

Mao Ning said that as a member of the Global South family, China has always shared its experience without reservation to help the development of countries in the Global South.Through fruitful infrastructure, investment and technological cooperation, we will help southern countries improve their independent development capabilities; by opening up their markets, we will help southern countries expand exports of high-quality products to China and feed back industrial development with trade gains; through universally accessible green products, we will help southern countries optimize resource allocation and accelerate industrial transformation and upgrading. On the road to modernization together, China and countries in the Global South have always been partners.

"The greatness of a great country lies in benefiting the world. China will continue to use its own development to provide opportunities for the world and achieve common prosperity." Mao Ning said.
