On July 6, President Xi Jinping and Montenegrin President Milatovic exchanged congratulatory messages to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Xi Jinping pointed out that China and Montenegro have a profound traditional friendship. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations 20 years ago, they have always respected each other, treated each other as equals, and achieved mutual benefit and win-win results, setting an example for countries of different sizes to live in harmony and develop together.I am willing to work with President Milatovic to take the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries as a new starting point, inherit and carry forward traditional friendship, continue to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, lead China-Black relations to a new level, and better benefit the two peoples.

Milatovic said that Montenegro and China have always developed friendly and cooperative relations based on mutual respect and understanding.Montenegro is willing to take the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with China as an opportunity to further consolidate and deepen friendly relations, expand cooperation in various fields, benefit the two peoples, and make positive contributions to promoting world peace and development.
