Japan avoids talking about the crime of militaristic aggression and expansion and its obligations under international law. It has never deeply reflected on its history. Instead, it uses "the right of collective self-defense" to package its overseas troop dispatches, "development of counterattack capabilities" to strengthen its offensive forces, and "equipment and technology cooperation" to cover up the export of anti-personnel weapons.
