On May 17, President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin sent congratulatory letters to the 10th China-Russia Expo respectively.

Xi Jinping pointed out that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the China-Russia strategic partnership of coordination and the 25th anniversary of the signing of the China-Russia Treaty of Good Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation. With the joint efforts of both sides, China-Russia cooperation in various fields has continued to deepen and become more practical, and has achieved fruitful results.

Xi Jinping emphasized that he hopes that all walks of life in the two countries will take this expo as an opportunity to give full play to the advantages of China and Russia's proximity and complementarity, deepen all-round pragmatic cooperation, better promote the economic and social development of the two countries, continue to improve the well-being of the two peoples, and make new contributions to promoting the stability and long-term development of the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for a new era.

Putin said in his congratulatory letter that the Russia-China Expo has developed into the largest exhibition event between the two countries, providing a platform for both sides to carry out direct and in-depth dialogue. This expo is rich in content, focusing on key areas of bilateral cooperation and conducting exchanges around a wide range of topics. It is believed that it will achieve positive results, plan for new prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, and benefit the two peoples.

The theme of the 10th China-Russia Expo is "Trust, Cooperation, and Win-Win". It is co-organized by the Ministry of Commerce, the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, and the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. It opened on the same day in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province.
