Today (16th), the second domestically produced large cruise ship "Aida Huacheng" set sail from Pier 5 of Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding of China State Shipbuilding Corporation and began a 12-day trial mission.
In this trial mission, the staff will conduct actual inspections on the construction quality and system reliability of the second domestic large-scale cruise ship "Aida Huacheng". Through the test of systems and equipment such as stabilizers, the key indicators such as vibration, noise, and speed will be simultaneously verified to achieve the purpose of verifying the safety, comfort, and reliability of the cruise ship.
According to the plan, the second domestically produced large-scale cruise ship "Aida Huacheng" will gradually complete the project inspection to the ship owner after the trial is completed. It is planned to be delivered on November 6, 2026. After the delivery, it will start its maiden voyage season from the Guangzhou Nansha International Cruise Home Port.
