The reporter learned from the Ministry of Transport on the 6th that during this year’s Tomb Sweeping Day holiday (April 4 to 6), the number of cross-regional personnel movements in society is expected to be 845.378 million people, with an average daily average of 281.79 million people, an increase of 6% compared to the 2025 Tomb Sweeping Day holiday.

Specifically, highway passenger traffic is expected to be 778.45 million passengers, with an average daily average of 259.48 million, a year-on-year increase of 5.8%; railway passenger traffic is expected to be 57.679 million, with a daily average of 19.23 million. A year-on-year increase of 8.2%; waterway passenger volume is expected to be 3.725 million, with a daily average of 1.24 million, a year-on-year increase of 9.8%; civil aviation passenger volume is expected to be 5.524 million, with a daily average of 1.84 million, a year-on-year decrease of 1.3%.
