CCTV News: According to the WeChat public account of the Ministry of Transport, data from the comprehensive transportation Spring Festival Transport Special Class shows that on February 18, 2026 (the 17th day of Spring Festival travel, Wednesday, the second day of the first lunar month), the number of cross-regional personnel movements in society was 322.988 million, a month-on-month increase of 44.1%, and an increase of 9.7% over the same period in 2025 (Thursday). Among them:

◆Railway passenger volume was 10.801 million, a month-on-month increase of 78.5%, and an increase of 11.6% over the same period in 2025.

◆The traffic volume of highway personnel (including non-commercial passenger vehicle travel volume on expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways, and highway commercial passenger volume) was 308.15 million, a month-on-month increase of 43.4%, and an increase of 9.6% over the same period in 2025. Among them, the commercial passenger volume on highways was 20.98 million, a month-on-month increase of 62.8%, and an increase of 8.9% over the same period in 2025; the non-commercial passenger car travel volume on expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways was 287.17 million, a month-on-month increase of 42.2%, and an increase of 9.7% over the same period in 2025.

◆The waterway passenger volume was 1.565 million, a month-on-month increase of 48.3%, and an increase of 18.9% over the same period in 2025.

◆Civil aviation passenger volume was 2.473 million, an increase of 9.6% month-on-month and an increase of 9.2% over the same period in 2025.
