During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, important progress has been made in the high-quality development of national high-tech zones, and the development layout has become more reasonable. The total number of parks has increased from 169 in 2020 to 178, covering 31 provincial administrative regions.

The GDP of 178 national high-tech zones accounts for 14.3% of the total national GDP, and the number of companies with revenue exceeding 100 million yuan has reached 43,000.
