Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, under the personal planning, leadership and command of General Secretary Xi Jinping, 98.99 million rural poor people across the country have been completely lifted out of poverty, leaving no household or one person, creating a miracle in the history of human poverty reduction and has been praised by former World Bank President Kim Yong Kim as "one of the greatest stories in human history." On this basis, the Party and the government have continued to promote the effective connection between consolidating and expanding the results of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, and "helping the people who have been lifted out of poverty and sending them a journey" and the results of poverty alleviation have been continuously consolidated.

Don't let a region collapse. We have fully stimulated the vitality of entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity in the whole society, and more than 190 million business entities (including more than 63 million enterprises) across the country have become the main force of economic development.

The fruits of development are shared by all people. my country has built the world's largest social security system, especially 328 million people receive monthly pensions, blocking the common risk of "elderly poverty" in some countries. We have built the world's largest medical and health system, promoting the sinking of high-quality medical resources and regional balanced layout, and more than 90% of families can reach the nearest medical point within 15 minutes. We have greatly reduced the prices of drugs and consumables through centralized and volume-based procurement of drugs, and strive to promote the general public to enjoy basic medical services fairly and affordably. With the in-depth implementation of the Healthy China strategy, people's health level has significantly improved. my country's average life expectancy has increased from 74.8 years in 2012 to 79 years in 2024, 5.7 years higher than the global average.

Make development greener, more beautiful and more sustainable. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, we have firmly established the concept of "green water and green mountains are gold and silver mountains", resolutely fought the battle to defend blue sky, clear water and clean land, and coordinatedly promoted carbon reduction, pollution reduction, green expansion and growth, effectively curbed the momentum of ecological environment deterioration, and achieved major achievements in the world's fastest improvement in air quality, the largest increase in surface water quality, the fastest growth in the world, and the largest artificial afforestation area in the world. We actively cultivate and develop green productivity and build the world's largest renewable energy system. The installed capacity of hydropower, wind power and solar power generation are firmly ranked first in the world. Every 3 kWh of electricity in the country is green electricity. As of the end of June 2025, my country's new energy vehicle ownership reached 36.89 million, and the electric vehicle charging infrastructure was nearly 16.7 million, ranking first in the world. The late American Academy of Humanities and Sciences John Cobb Jr. once said that China's arduous efforts in ecological civilization have made the world see hope, and China is the hope of the world.
