CCTV News: According to the Ministry of Transport, on October 1, 2025 (the first day of the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday), the cross-regional flow of people in the whole society was 335.7884 million, a month-on-month increase of 42.6%, and a year-on-year increase of 1.4% (the first day of the National Day holiday in 2024, the same below). Among them:
The railway passenger volume was 23.132 million, an increase of 25.3% month-on-month and 7.9% year-on-year.
The flow of highway personnel (including the travel of non-commercial passenger buses on expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways and commercial passenger traffic) was 308.86 million, an increase of 44.4% month-on-month and 0.8% year-on-year. Among them, the number of business passengers on highways was 41.21 million, an increase of 12.4% month-on-month and 2.4% year-on-year; the number of non-commercial passenger buses on expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways was 267.65 million, an increase of 51.1% month-on-month and 0.6% year-on-year.
The water passenger volume was 1.3215 million, an increase of 82.8% month-on-month and 20.5% year-on-year.
The civil aviation passenger volume was 2.4749 million, an increase of 2.5% month-on-month and 3.2% year-on-year.
