Data shows that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the national general public budget arranged 20.5 trillion yuan in education expenditure, 19.6 trillion yuan in social security and employment expenditure, 10.6 trillion yuan in health expenditure, 4 trillion yuan in housing expenditure, plus expenditures in other fields, nearly 100 trillion yuan in fiscal livelihood investment. Lan Foan said that this year, the national finance has allocated 100 billion yuan to issue childcare subsidies and 20 billion yuan to gradually promote free preschool education, actively responding to the concerns of the people.
