At the press conference of the Ministry of Commerce held on the 25th, a relevant official from the Ministry of Commerce introduced that in recent years, China-Arab economic and trade cooperation has achieved remarkable results. In 2024, China-Arab trade volume increased by 2.3% year-on-year, and cooperation in emerging fields has many highlights. According to reports, China-Arab trade volume reached US$407.4 billion in 2024, an increase of 2.3% year-on-year. China has maintained its position as Arabia's largest trading partner for many years.

Assistant Minister of Commerce Yuan Xiaoming: Cooperation in emerging fields is full of highlights. China and Arab countries are actively expanding their cooperation potential in cutting-edge fields such as e-commerce, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, green and low-carbon, and financial technology. Chinese companies have built 5G commercial networks in Arab countries, improving the local informatization level. Chinese e-commerce platforms have gradually entered the markets of Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and other countries, facilitating the lives of local people.
