China's e-commerce logistics index hits a new high this year in June

CCTV News (News Network): The China Federation of Logistics and Procurement announced on July 9 that the China e-commerce logistics index in June was 111.8 points, up 0.2 points from the previous month. The index rose month-on-month for four consecutive months and set a new high in the year in June. Judging from the main sub-indexes, the total business volume index of e-commerce logistics has steadily rebounded, the month-on-month increase of the rural business volume index has further expanded, and the year-on-year growth rate of rural business volume has exceeded 30% for the first time this year.

After the joint promotion of national subsidy policies and centralized promotions on e-commerce platforms, consumers were enthusiastic about online shopping in June. The e-commerce consumption scenarios are diversified, and the demand for purchasing household goods and seasonal goods in summer is strong. Driven by the trade-in policy, consumption vitality in the digital home appliance field has been significant and order volume has increased. E-commerce logistics companies actively increase transportation capacity organization and improve delivery timeliness.
