The Ministry of Commerce held a regular press conference on the 3rd. At the meeting, Ministry of Commerce spokesman He Yongqian said that cars are "large-made durable" consumer goods, and encouraging and supporting the development of the "used car" market is a common practice in all countries.

In February 2024, the Ministry of Commerce, together with relevant departments, jointly formulated relevant requirements and procedures for second-hand car export and issued an announcement, officially launching second-hand car export business nationwide. Over the past year, various places have organized and implemented the car in accordance with the requirements of the announcement, strictly guaranteed quality and safety, and did a good job in the export of used cars, meeting the car purchase choices of overseas consumers.

He Yongqian pointed out that in the next step, the Ministry of Commerce will continue to work with relevant departments to strengthen guidance on the export of used cars and promote the healthy and orderly development of used cars.
