The China Federation of Logistics and Procurement announced the China Warehousing Index for June today (3rd). The index has been operating in the expansion range for eight consecutive months, and the warehousing industry continues to operate well.

China's warehouse index in June was 51%, up 0.5 percentage points from the previous month. The major sub-indexes such as new orders, average inventory turnover times, business profits, and business activity expectations all rebounded.

Specifically, the new order index in June was 51.6%, up 0.7 percentage points from the previous month. The index rose slightly in the expansion range, indicating that the demand for warehousing business is active and the number of new orders continues to grow. By variety, the demand for consumer goods warehousing business has performed more impressively, especially the new order index of food, home appliances, agricultural and sideline products and other varieties has increased significantly.

Driven by the growing business demand, the overall business profit of the company has also rebounded. The business profit index returned to the expansion range after five months, indicating that the overall operating conditions of warehousing enterprises have improved compared with the previous period.

Overall, in the first half of this year, China's warehouse index continued to operate in the expansion range. The new order index has maintained expansion for six consecutive months, and overall business demand has maintained steady growth. The business activity expectations index has been operating continuously at a high level of prosperity, and corporate expectations remain optimistic.
