In Fengjing Town, Jinshan, Shanghai Legoland Resort is undergoing equipment debugging work in full swing. The park is scheduled to officially open in July this year. After the project is completed, it will have eight theme areas and a themed hotel, providing tourists with a diversified comprehensive experience of food, accommodation, travel, shopping and play. It is understood that Legoland will adopt a CET-6 ticket price, with children's tickets starting at 255 yuan and adult tickets starting at 319 yuan. The person in charge said that China is the second largest theme park market in the world, and the size of China's theme park market is expected to exceed 50 billion yuan by 2027. For Shanghai Legoland, the radius of 55 million is within a two-hour drive.
In recent years, China has become a hot spot for investment in the world's leading theme parks. In the first quarter of this year alone, several parks announced that they would settle in Shanghai. In March, Peppa Pig Outdoor Theme Park announced that it will be officially opened on Changxing Island, Chongming, Shanghai in 2027. The person in charge said that after the completion of Shanghai's Peppa Pig Paradise will be the first in Asia and the largest Peppa Pig outdoor park in the world so far.
Now, the third resort hotel under construction in Shanghai Disneyland will have 400 rooms here after completion. According to the president and general manager of Shanghai Disney Resort, the construction of the main structure of the hotel was completed in January and internal construction is underway; the second expansion project is a brand new Spider-Man-themed roller coaster in the park, which is also the first Marvel-themed attraction in the park.
