Cen Haohui said that the Macao SAR government will solve the problem of a single economic structure by improving government efficiency, optimizing the business environment, promoting the construction of Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone, and carrying out the construction of major engineering projects.

In terms of vigorously promoting the construction of Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone and better integrating into the overall national development, Cen Haohui emphasized that Hengqin is the key to the "breaking of the deadlock" of Macau's moderately diversified economic development. Cen Haohui said that the entire Macau society must be aware of Hengqin's development. Its original intention, its substantial role and goal is to make Macau's economic diversification, and to make Macau citizens more good work, employment and living space. At the same time, it can also open up space for economic and commercial development for the business community of the Macao Special Administrative Region.

Cen Haohui also sent a message to Macau youth to step out of their comfort zone, enter Hengqin, embrace the Bay Area, and integrate into the overall national development. "We must have the courage to enter the Bay Area, the first step is to enter Hengqin and get out of the comfort zone. Especially young people must break out a path that broadens their horizons, make full use of their talents, and learn to use. Cen Haohui said that it is difficult for the Macao SAR to survive on the abuse of tariffs in the United States, but the impact is limited. "Macau's annual export trade and goods trade are about 13 billion Macau patacas, and exports to the United States of 300 million Macau patacas, mainly clothing and some souvenir products, but their dependence is not very strong, and the direct impact is not very large. They are also transforming and upgrading, and developing more towards Southeast Asia."

Although the tariff war has not caused direct impact on Macau, its impact on global consumption power is testing the risk resistance of this tourist city.
