CCTV News: There are more than 80 national traditional villages in Songyang County, Zhejiang Province. These ancient villages embedded in the deep mountains are called "the last secret realm in Jiangnan" with their complete architectural style and unique landscape pattern. "April Spring in Rural Areas" enters Songzhuang Village, where villagers, artists and tourists build a rural art test site to promote cultural cross-border between cities and villages.

Starting from Songyang County and bypassing the eighteen bends of the mountain road, Songzhuang, a village with a history of about 600 years, finally came into view. Here, houses with mud walls and green tiles are built against the mountains, and a stream winds through the village. The stone arch bridge across the stream is the landmark of the village, and tourists come to check in every day.

In 2014, Songzhuang Village became the third batch of traditional villages in the country and gradually became well-known. The village has traffic, which has attracted many young people to start businesses in the village. Of course, there are more surprises that Songzhuang Village can bring. At the corner of the village, at the end of the alley, on the rubble on the roof... tourists can accidentally encounter art embellishments. "New Villager" from Songzhuang Village, Songyang County, Zhejiang Province Sun Pei introduced: "This work is called "Letter in the Crack", which is the gap between these rammed earth walls. A girl who studies cultural relics restoration works here. There is a small painting here. There is no need to be too high-profile in the village. Maybe it is just an accidental discovery that there is such a work hidden, which would be more interesting."

Sun Pei, a native of Shanghai, was one of the first young people to come to the village. A few years ago, when she was immersed in this village, she felt not only the natural scenery and architectural aesthetics here, but also the fireworks of the Aboriginal life. Use things that impress yourself to impress more people. Sun Pei invited artists and designers to the countryside and started artistic creation with the villagers. Sun Pei said: "This grandma is named Ye Jinjuan. Every household in the village can raise ducks and geese. We said we can use our palms to see if we can draw the ducks and geese, teach her to use a pen, draw her mouth and eyes. These are also grandma's works."

Young people turned the "works" created with the villagers into postcards and refrigerator stickers, becoming a unique cultural and creative product in Songzhuang. For each item sold, villagers who are one of the original authors will also receive an income.

The small Songzhuang village has its own art museum and small theater, and dramas are performed occasionally and art markets are held regularly. Traditional and modern, indigenous and new villagers, where diverse cultures merge and grow. Sun Bei, a cultural commissioner in Songzhuang Village, Lishui City, said that now everyone comes to the countryside to enjoy life in a different way. How to combine the natural environment, terroir culture and urban lifestyle, everyone will feel that the energy field is exchanged.
