Xinhua News Agency, Urumqi, January 14 (Reporters Hao Yu, Jia Zhao, Faye Wong) In the deep winter, the Tarim River is frozen, and the hustle and bustle of the past has faded, and only oasis has risen in smoke. A slowly passing green train escorted the people who have been wandering outside this year, crossed the Gobi desert, and rushed to their homes for reunion.
On the eve of the Spring Festival, the reporter boarded the 7557 "slow train" train in Xinjiang that must be stopped at every station, and felt the joy and expectations of the people returning home.

Before getting on the bus, the reporter noticed the 25-year-old Mir Adili Maimati in the waiting room of Kashgar Railway Station. He was wrapped in a long down jacket and carried a guitar, and his backpack was stuffed with peach crisps and five-kerchief cakes. After getting in the car, he put his luggage on the shelf, sat down by the window, brewed tea, and gently tweaked the strings.
"My parents are in Zepu County, Kashgar, and I work in Guangzhou. Every year during the Chinese New Year, I take this bus home to see them." Mir Adili said. He is a frequent visitor of Greenskin. From studying at a university in Kashgar, traveling around the country, and working hard in Guangzhou, the "slow train" witnesses every journey of his life.

Like Mir Adili, the life and work of many people in southern Xinjiang are inseparable from this "slow train". To this day, this "slow train" from Urumqi to Hotan, with an average speed of less than 80 kilometers per hour is still the first choice for many wanderers to go home due to its low fare and convenient parking of 64 stations. As the passenger transport peak approaches during the Spring Festival, and the students who have returned from the winter vacation are almost full of people every day.
Thousands of miles away, home is the biggest concern. For Mir Adili, who is working hard outside, he will pick up his beloved guitar whenever he misses home.
The melodious sound of the piano attracted the attention of other passengers. When he learned that there were people who were good at playing the piano, Mill Adidi enthusiastically handed his guitar. Several itchy passengers performed in turn. When they heard the tender folk songs, many people hummed. The afternoon sun shines into the car window, and the word "Fu" on the window is reflected on the faces of passengers.

"Don't just listen to music, eat some jerky beef." The atmosphere in the car was warm, and Bumairem Tursun opened the gift box he carried with him and shared with his neighbors the local specialties he brought back from Sichuan. Over the past year, he ended his studies in Chengdu and planned to return to his hometown Moyu County to start a business with his brother.
This time I took the bus, Bumair discovered a new change: couplets were posted at the connection of the car, and there were more festive window flowers on the windows. "After going home, help my mother clean and get a red envelope for her." Bumairem said that the carriage with full New Year atmosphere reminded him that he should prepare New Year's goods as soon as possible when he got home.
In order to make people "return with full load", the conductor enthusiastically organized passengers to write the word "Fu" and also gave gifts such as Spring Festival couplets and train commemorative badges.
For a moment, laughter and joy were heard in the carriage, and the atmosphere of the New Year was everywhere. Maihemuti Abuduwayiti, who received the gift, carefully put the Spring Festival couplets into her backpack, which also contained new clothes, candies, and tablets for her daughter from Urumqi.
"It costs a lot of money!" Hearing someone's feelings, Mai Hemuti nodded with a smile, his eyes full of doting: "Is it hard to make money just to make the baby live a good life."

Some young people also joined the discussion and shared their list of New Year’s goods: from specialties from various places to health care products for elders, and exquisite decorations... The passengers talked and laughed and intertwined, dispelling the long journey and made this long journey feel like the fast forward button was pressed.
Unconsciously, the train stopped slowly, and the people arriving at the station got off the train with joy and warmth as they chatted along the way. After the Spring Festival, the train will usher in a peak passenger flow for resuming work and returning to school. At that time, there will be new topics in the carriage, and people who go out may meet again in the car.
