CCTV News: According to the website of the Ministry of Emergency Management, Chinese rescue teams continue to carry out rescue work in Mandalay, which is severely affected by Myanmar. As of 8:00 local time on April 5, a total of 9 survivors were rescued.
On April 4 local time, Chinese rescue teams continued to send multiple teams to search and investigate trapped people in key areas and buildings. The China International Rescue Team, together with the China Rescue Team, the Hong Kong Rescue Team, the Shenzhen Public Welfare Rescue Team, etc., carried out free medical consultation activities, and sent professional medical experts from respiratory, cardiac, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, to carry examination equipment such as electrocardiogram machines, portable X-ray machines, handheld ultrasound machines, and more than 100 kinds of drug consumables for free consultations, and received more than 100 victims. The China International Rescue Team will continue to organize medical forces to go to various resettlement sites in Mandalay urban areas to carry out medical inspections.
