Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, April 5 (Reporter Zhang Xiaojie) The National Development and Reform Commission and six other departments recently jointly issued the "Action Plan for Promoting the High-Quality Development of the Heat Pump Industry", proposing that through joint efforts of all parties, we will strive to continuously enhance the production and manufacturing and technological R&D capabilities of heat pumps by 2030, and the energy efficiency level of key heat pump products will be increased by more than 20%.
According to the plan, we strive to make breakthroughs in core technologies such as high-power high-temperature heat pumps, high-efficiency compressors, and new refrigerants by 2030, the application area of heat pump construction and the capacity of heat pump assembly machines continue to grow, the level of high-quality development of the heat pump industry has been significantly improved, and the international competitive advantages have been continuously expanded.
Combining the level of technological development and different industry characteristics, the plan proposes the main paths for the promotion and application of heat pumps in the fields of construction, industry, agriculture, transportation, etc., and proposes the main tasks of improving the quality and upgrading of the heat pump industry from the perspective of heat pump design, research and development, production and manufacturing, equipment update, scrapping and disposal, etc. from the perspective of the entire life cycle of heat pump design and research and development, production and manufacturing, equipment update, scrapping and disposal.
In addition, the plan clearly defines four guarantee measures including strengthening the construction guarantee for heat pump installation and use, strengthening comprehensive policy support, giving full play to the leading and supporting role of standards, deepening international cooperation in the field of heat pumps, and puts forward work requirements for supervision and management, industry self-discipline, and supply and demand docking.
The reporter learned that in the next step, the National Development and Reform Commission will work with relevant departments to strengthen overall coordination, improve policies and measures, and strive to promote the implementation of the plan, effectively improve the level of green, low-carbon and high-quality development of the heat pump industry, providing strong support for actively and steadily promoting carbon peak and carbon neutrality and stepping up the comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development.
