On the first day of the Spring Festival travel rush, the national railway is expected to send 10.3 million passengers. On the 14th, the 12306 platform began to release New Year's Eve train tickets. Based on the 12306 pre-sale tickets and alternate ticket purchase data, the railway department will increase the deployment of transportation resources in popular directions and periods that conditions allow.

In terms of civil aviation, it is estimated that 2.04 million passengers will be transported on the 14th. As of January 13, the 2025 Spring Festival holiday (from January 28 to February 4, 2025), the number of domestic air ticket bookings exceeded 6 million, and the popular destinations were Chongqing, Chengdu, Beijing, Harbin, Xi'an and other places; the number of air ticket bookings for inbound and outbound routes exceeded 1.52 million, an increase of about 23% over the same period last year's Spring Festival.

In terms of highways, during the Spring Festival travel rush, the average daily traffic volume of highways across the country was about 38.5 million. Long-distance and medium-to-short-distance travel are intertwined, and travel destinations are diversified. Passenger cars have become the mainstream, among which new energy vehicles continue to grow.

In terms of waterways, this year's Spring Festival travel rush is expected to send 30 million passengers, an increase of 3.44% year-on-year. The passenger flow of Qiongzhou Strait, water sightseeing and ferry transportation will usher in a peak in passenger flow.
