CCTV News: Ship manufacturing in the Yangtze River Delta is a major growth point for foreign trade exports. In Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, five new ships have been successfully delivered since the beginning of the year.

Recently, at a shipyard in Yangzhou, a reporter saw a methanol dual-fuel branch container ship built for Singaporean merchants was ready to go.

The development momentum of this shipbuilding company "cuts through the waves" is a vivid epitome of the rapid development of Yangzhou's shipbuilding industry. The reporter learned from Yangzhou Customs that since the beginning of this year, five new ships in Yangzhou have successfully "going to sea". As one of the three major shipbuilding bases in Jiangsu Province, the "Yangzhou" ship types are mainly large bulk carriers and ro-roll ships, covering a variety of ship types such as multi-purpose heavy gondolas, container ships, asphalt ships, etc. In order to help Yangzhou's shipbuilding industry develop at a high quality, Yangzhou Customs optimizes supervision services and adopts the convenient model of "early declaration + shipside supervision" for large equipment such as imported ship hosts, and promotes paperless online declaration for new ship exports, and jointly conducts joint inspections with port units to achieve one-time inspection and rapid release.

Cao Yongchun, head of the Transportation Tool Supervision Section of Yangzhou Customs Port Office, introduced that in response to the development of ship companies, the customs implements a one-by-one report and one-by-one plan for all ships to ensure that the entire process is seamless and that the ship can be delivered to sea as quickly as possible.
