CCTV News (News Network): The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers released the latest data on January 13, and my country's automobile production and sales both exceeded 31 million vehicles in 2024, setting a new record high. Among them, 5.859 million vehicles were exported, an increase of 19.3% year-on-year, further consolidating its position as the largest automobile exporter. The latest data also shows that in 2024, my country's new energy vehicle production and sales reached 12.888 million and 12.866 million respectively, an increase of 34.4% and 35.5% year-on-year respectively. The sales of new energy and new cars reached 40.9% of the total sales of new cars.
The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers stated that in 2024, my country introduced a series of combination policies, especially the exchange of old cars to new cars has greatly stimulated automobile consumption.
