Xinhua News Agency reporters Lin Jianyang, Zhou Yuan, Li Hua

On January 10, Ciren Pingcuo, secretary of the Party Branch of Gurong Village, did not have to go into the tent anymore, and counted how many layers of quilts the villagers had covered.

Gurong Village, Dingri County, is one of the villages most severely affected by the 6.8-magnitude earthquake in Dingri, Tibet. On the 10th, 107 people affected by the disaster in 20 households in the village picked up bedding and mattresses and moved into the mobile prefabricated house, becoming the first group of people affected to move into the prefabricated house during the earthquake.

That night, lights lit up in the mobile prefabricated room. Tsering Pingcuo's heart was a little relaxed, "Each board room has 18 square meters, which can accommodate four or five people. We are equipped with folding beds, tables, stoves, and electricity is also turned on, striving to allow the villagers to spend this cold winter more securely."

The earthquake zone is located at the foot of Mount Everest, with an altitude of more than 4,000 meters. It is the middle of winter, and the air here is thin, the temperature is cold and the temperature is severe. Keeping warm has become the top priority of this earthquake relief work.

"Ensure that the affected people have a warm winter" is the clear requirement of the Party Central Committee for the earthquake relief work in Ting Japan in Tibet. Since the earthquake, all parties have worked hard to ensure the basic lives of the affected people, and have taken multiple measures and made every effort to ensure that the people have a warm winter.

From tents to prefabricated houses, more people affected are moving into relatively warm accommodation.

On the 10th, 400 mobile houses were built in Quxia Town, Lazi County; on the 11th, the first mobile house in Mabujia Township, Saga County started construction... In recent days, movable houses have been started in the earthquake zone.

The reporter saw that these batches of folding box rooms are designed with an overall structural design, and all splicings adopt a bite-type design, with good sealing and insulation performance, which can achieve first-level fire resistance, earthquake resistance, wind resistance and rain leakage protection.

"Each household is divided into two prefabricated houses, plus the previous tents, each household has 3 residences, which basically realizes the tents to store supplies and the prefabricated houses. We also replaced the villagers with larger and better heat dissipation furnaces, equipped with cow dung and sheep dung, which is basically no problem for the warm winter." said Mima Ciren, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and township mayor of Guojia Township, Dingjie County.

From no power to full coverage, the affected people have used more stable electricity.

On the afternoon of the 11th, as the temporary engine at the scattered resettlement site in Tangren Village, Cuoguo Township, Dingri County was unloaded, all resettlement sites in the epicenter area were connected to the municipal power.

"In addition to connecting the centralized resettlement tents for the affected people, we have successively connected the newly added decentralized resettlement tents, newly built board houses, operation points, medical treatment sites and public facilities of various rescue units." The front-line person in charge of State Grid Tibet Electric Power Co., Ltd., which is in the epicenter, said.

The power has arrived and the network has also been connected. As of the evening of the 11th, villagers had watched Internet TV at several temporary resettlement sites such as Gurong Village in Dingri County and Nai Village in Dingjie County. The mobile homes in Gurong Village also have full Wi-Fi coverage. The children sat together and asked for the movie to be played.

Live warm and eat with peace of mind. The reporter saw at several disaster sites that the materials distributed by the government had long changed from the original emergency food such as instant noodles and bread to daily food such as rice, flour, beef, mutton and vegetables.

"With the advancement of resettlement work, new changes have occurred in the needs of the affected people for their lives. Considering the eating habits of the local people, we sent salt, tea, ghee and beef and mutton to better ensure the basic lives of the affected people." said Tao Mingjun, secretary of the Dingjie County Party Committee.

The average altitude of Dingri County is 4,500 meters, making it difficult for the affected people to eat hot meals every time. In the resettlement tent in Cuoguo Township, Dingri County, the reporter saw that the villagers had used new plateau cooking utensils, which could overcome problems such as low air pressure and low boiling point of water.

To ensure that the affected people have a warm winter, more forces are gathering: the Office of the National Disaster Prevention, Reduction and Relief Commission and the Ministry of Emergency Management quickly allocated 42,000 pieces of central disaster relief materials such as cotton tents, cotton quilts, folding beds, etc. to the disaster area; relevant local commercial departments transported 73,000 pieces of electric blankets, heating stoves, quilts, cotton coats, blankets and other materials; caring enterprises, foundations, etc. to the disaster area to provide 350,000 pieces of disaster relief materials such as cold protection and warm supplies, elderly and children's supplies...

Confidence and hope are gathering in the snowy plateau.
