Yunnan Dounan Flower Market is the largest fresh cut flower trading market in Asia. Since New Year's Day, the sales of "New Year's Eve Flowers" have entered the preheating period. According to the latest data from Kunming Flower Photography Center, nearly 3.7 million New Year's Eve flowers are sent from here to all parts of the country every day. Dounan's relative market share of fresh cut flowers in the country exceeds 70%.



The flower routes departing from Dounan every day can basically cover the whole country, among which Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Sichuan, Shanghai and Beijing are the main provinces and cities, and the transportation volumes in Beijing, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Hebei have increased significantly. From the trajectory of the "New Year's Flower" across the north and south, we can see that many lines are significantly speeding up. Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Zhongshan are the fastest shipping, and can be reached in about 20 hours. Places like Harbin can now be delivered within 36 hours from the past 48 hours, achieving "the flowers in Yunnan bloom to their homes in the north."

From the perspective of transportation varieties, consumers in Guangzhou and Shenzhen prefer potted plants such as kumquats, phalaenopsis, peach blossoms, etc., consumers in Beijing prefer Phalaenopsis, Pineapple, North American holly, etc., while consumers in Shanghai pursue novelty more, and niche "New Year's flowers" such as succulents and rich bamboo are popular. It is worth mentioning that in third- and fourth-tier cities, through the "network + community" model, tulip sales this year have increased by more than 10 times compared with the past.
