The national criminal cases decreased by 25.7% year-on-year, and the social security situation continued to remain stable. The procuratorate handled nearly 160,000 public interest litigation cases, continuously building a solid protective barrier for public interests; courts across the country have concluded about 69,000 cases involving migrant workers, with an amount of more than 1.7 billion yuan in execution. The people's sense of gain is more fulfilling.

Today, China has become one of the safest countries in the world, and a safe China has become a bright national business card.

To build a safer China at a higher level, we must effectively prevent and resolve various contradictions and risks. In 2024, the political and legal organs will adhere to and develop the "Fengqiao Experience" in the new era, and focus on the county level to fully promote the standardization of comprehensive management centers. Public security, courts, procuratorates, judicial bureaus, petitions, human resources and social security departments will work in a centralized manner to achieve "one-window acceptance, one-stop handling, and one-stop settlement" of conflicts and disputes, and effectively resolve conflict risks at the grassroots level and in the bud.

The people's living and working in peace and contentment is the warmest "background color" of a safe China. In 2024, in response to the social pain point of telecommunications and network fraud, the public security organs launched a thunderous attack, destroying the "four major families" criminal gangs in northern Myanmar, including the Ming family. A total of more than 53,000 Chinese suspects involved in fraud were arrested, and the large-scale electronic fraud park in northern Myanmar region near my country's border was eradicated.

Deepen the normalized fight against organized crime and evil. Promoting the conquering of a number of "bone cases" and "nail cases" has continued to send a strong signal to the society that "the crackdown on organized crime is always on the road" and safe China is more in line.

Fairness and justice are the soul and life of justice. People's procuratorates at all levels promote the cancellation of all unnecessary, inappropriate and unreasonable assessment indicators, reduce the burden on case handlers, focus on handling every case with high quality and efficiency, and make fairness and justice better and faster. People's courts at all levels shall implement the guiding opinions on improving the case review and verification mechanism, implement the requirements of "let the judge judge and the judge be responsible" and the court president's judicial management responsibilities, and each bears corresponding responsibilities.

The people need, what they want. The public security organs continue to promote the "cross-provincial handling" and "nation-wide handling" of household registration services such as household registration migration, newborn household registration, and ID card processing; they have launched 13 new traffic management reform measures, and have issued electronic driving licenses to more than 100 million car owners. Judicial administrative agencies have carried out the "notarization and reduction of certificates to facilitate the public" activity, shortening the issuance of notarization to within 10 working days, significantly shortening the time for applying for certificates for the public.
