A relevant person in charge of the Agricultural Development Bank of China said that as my country's only agricultural policy bank, the Agricultural Development Bank focuses on important planning requirements such as the construction of the national water network, closely coordinates with the water conservancy department, strives to improve the level of financial services, continuously strengthens the brand of "water conservancy bank", and fully promotes the high-quality development of the national water conservancy industry. Since the establishment of water conservancy construction loans in 2007 to the end of 2024, the Agricultural Development Bank of China has issued a total of 1.58 trillion yuan in water conservancy construction loans.
In addition, in 2024, the Agricultural Development Bank also issued the "Guiding Opinions on Further Strengthening the Characteristic Brand of "Water Conservancy Bank"", focusing on six major areas including farmland water conservancy construction, flood control and drainage projects, water resource optimization allocation, urban and rural water supply projects, water ecological protection and governance, and water energy resource development and utilization, and optimized policies such as credit scale, fund guarantee, interest rate pricing, and continuously improved the credit policy system to improve the quality and efficiency of services.
