CCTV News: The Supreme People's Procuratorate held a press conference on "Contributing Procuratorial Power in Service to the Overall Situation" on February 18. The relevant person in charge introduced that in 2024, the national procuratorate fully fulfilled its legal supervision responsibilities in accordance with the law, equally protected state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, foreign-funded enterprises and other types of business entities in accordance with the law, and handled enterprise-related cases with high quality and efficiency, and achieved solid results.

In 2024, procuratorates nationwide prosecuted more than 40,000 people committing crimes that disrupted market order, an increase of 21% year-on-year. Focusing on high-tech, key core technologies and other fields, more than 200 people were prosecuted for infringement of commercial secrets, an increase of 34% year-on-year. Strengthen the procuratorial supervision of enterprises-related cases, handle more than 20,000 civil procuratorial supervision cases involving enterprises, handle more than 25,000 administrative procuratorial supervision cases involving enterprises, and handle more than 12,000 public interest litigation cases involving enterprises.



Ge Xiaoyan, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Procurator-General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, said: "The national procuratorate strengthens the acceptance and review of five key cases supervision clues of key cases involving enterprises, review of necessity for detention, supervision of property measures, supervision of case handling overtime, and review of criminal complaints. A total of 3,738 cases were accepted and 2,319 cases were completed."
