It is reported that Russia and the United States met in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia on the 18th to prepare for possible negotiations on the Ukraine issue. Leaders of many European countries held an emergency meeting in Paris, the capital of France on the 17th to discuss issues such as the situation in Ukraine and European collective security.
In this regard, Guo Jiakun said that regarding the Ukrainian crisis, China has always believed that dialogue and negotiation is the only feasible way to resolve the crisis, and has always insisted on persuading peace and promoting talks. We are happy to see all efforts committed to peace, including the peace talks and consensus reached by the United States and Russia. At the same time, we expect all parties and stakeholders to participate in the peace talks in due course.
