CCTV News: Spring comes early. Since the beginning of this year, railway construction projects in various regions have been stepping up, and the "acceleration" of the New Year has been achieved.

At present, the Hubei section of the Yangtze River High-speed Railway is accelerating from three points in the east, middle and west, and is sprinting to be fully completed by 2030. Construction personnel from Yichang to Fuling are entering the site one after another; from Wuhan to Yichang, more than 6,000 workers are fighting along the construction line; at the construction site of the Jushui Super Bridge from Hefei to Wuhan, nearly 100 bridge piers are rising from the ground.

As the first high-speed railway in the old revolutionary base in northern Shaanxi, the entire tunnel of the Western Extension High-speed Railway was successfully completed. After the line is completed and operated, the operating time from Xi'an to Yan'an will be shortened from the current 2.5 hours to about 1 hour. On the Chengdu-Da-Wan High-speed Railway connecting Chengdu, Dazhou and Wanzhou, Chongqing, 7 new station buildings have also been fully started. After the route is completed, a convenient passenger transport channel will be formed from Chengdu to the Central Plains and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region through Chongqing, helping to build the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle and the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.

The main project of the Luoze River Super Bridge Pier of the Chongqing-Kunming High-speed Railway was completed

The Chongqing-Kunming High-speed Railway is an important part of the Beijing-Kunming Channel of my country's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network. Since the New Year, tens of thousands of construction workers have resumed work and production, and hundreds of construction sites have been progressing smoothly. The Luoze River Super Bridge located in Yunnan is a key and difficult control project of the Chongqing-Kunming High-speed Railway. The main project of the bridge pier was completed a few days ago.

The reporter came to the construction platform of the No. 3 bridge pier located in Luozehe Super Bridge, Yiliang County, Yunnan Province. The distance here is 150 meters, which is equivalent to the height of more than 50-story buildings. Now, workers are working in groups to install steel bars. Here we see that these dense steel bars must be tied to a standard of 10 cm apart. Workers walking through the steel bar forest work as meticulously as knitting sweaters to ensure that the construction meets the standard requirements. With the advancement of this process, it marks that the main project of the bridge pier has been completed and has entered the upper construction stage, which is also a major node in the construction of the bridge.

The Luoze River Super Bridge has a total length of 524.9 meters. It is currently the prestressed concrete bridge with the largest span, the highest pier and the highest slope of the high-speed railway with a speed of 350 kilometers per hour in my country. The bridge is located in a very special geographical location. It spans deep canyons and connects with the tunnel at both ends. It is a typical V-shaped landform of "two tunnels and one bridge" on mountainous railways. Through the aerial footage, the mountains on both sides are very steep and some places are nearly vertical, which has a great impact on construction. During the four-year construction process, facing complex geological conditions and difficult construction requirements, the builders have continuously optimized the construction plan, introduced intelligent monitoring equipment on the one hand, and adopted targeted construction methods on the other hand. Among them, two construction methods such as "tower first and beams" have been applied for relevant patents.

According to the construction schedule, the Luoze River Super Bridge will be integrated within this year, and the entire construction will gradually enter the sprint stage. Now, not only are the workers on the bridge pier stepping up their work, but more than 10 construction workers are assembling the formwork in the bottom area of ​​the bridge. After the workers assemble the small components on the ground, they will hoist the whole to their current location to be installed, and then pour the concrete. Every process of the completion of a bridge is indispensable, and every work done by every work is also a foundation for the completion of the bridge.

Since the end of the Spring Festival holiday, more than 100 construction sites and more than 14,000 builders on the Yunnan section of the Chongqing-Kunming High-speed Railway have quickly resumed work and production in full swing. Although the Binghui Tunnel, which is a first-class high-risk tunnel, with the efforts of construction workers, the auxiliary tunnels have been completed and the excavation of the main tunnels has reached more than 80%. Like the Luoze River Bridge, the construction of these two key control projects is progressing relatively smoothly. At the same time, with the joint efforts of all the construction personnel, the construction of 107 bridges in the Yunnan section of the Chongqing-Kunming High-speed Railway has been completed by more than 85%, 35 tunnels have been completed, and more than half of the box girder erection task has been completed. According to the Kunming Bureau of the National Railway, the entire Chongqing-Kunming High-speed Railway is expected to meet the opening conditions around December 2026. By then, the driving time from Chongqing to Kunming will be shortened from the current 5 hours to the fastest of about 2 hours. From Kunming to Chengdu, it is expected to be controlled within 3 hours, and the travel conditions of people along the route will be greatly improved.
