National Development and Reform Commission: Increase efforts to resolve the problem of arrears of private enterprises

The National Development and Reform Commission stated today that it will work with relevant departments and localities to further refine and implement measures to solve urgent, difficult, and major common problems for enterprises.

Relevant person in charge of the National Development and Reform Commission introduced that at present, 2,266 problems and demands reported by private enterprises have been collected through various channels, and 1,097 have been completed. Next, we will work with relevant parties to continue to make great efforts to solve the problem of difficulty and high cost of financing for private enterprises and solve the problem of arrears of corporate accounts.

Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission Zheng Bei: Promote local governments and state-owned enterprises to implement their responsibilities, make good use of policies such as the addition of new local government special bonds, and effectively accelerate the progress of debt clearance.

In addition, continue to protect the legitimate rights and interests of private enterprises and private entrepreneurs in accordance with the law, and promote the legislative process of the Private Economy Promotion Law in accordance with the statutory procedures.

Zheng Bei introduced that the Private Economy Promotion Law has been submitted to the National People's Congress for review, and the National Development and Reform Commission will speed up the relevant preparations for its issuance and implementation. At the same time, we will accelerate the improvement of the benchmark for administrative discretion, actively participate in special law enforcement actions involving enterprises, and resolutely prevent illegal law enforcement in other places and profit-seeking law enforcement.
