CCTV News: Data from the 2025 comprehensive transportation Spring Festival travel special team shows that it is estimated that on February 17, 2025 (the 35th day of the Spring Festival travel rush, the 20th day of the first lunar month), the cross-regional personnel flow in the whole society will be 193.57 million, of which 13 million railway passenger volume, 177.84 million highway personnel flow (145.14 million non-commercial passenger buses on expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways, 32.7 million highway commercial passenger volume), 600,000 water passenger volume, and 2.13 million civil aviation passenger volume.
On February 16, 2025 (the 34th day of the Spring Festival travel rush, the 19th day of the first lunar month), the cross-regional flow of people in the whole society was 203.94 million, an increase of 1.7% month-on-month and 19.6% over the same period in 2024.
The railway passenger volume was 15.232 million, a decrease of 1.2% month-on-month and an increase of 44.8% over the same period in 2024.
The flow of highway personnel (including the travel of non-commercial passenger buses on highways and ordinary national and provincial highways and commercial passenger traffic) was 185.74 million, an increase of 1.9% month-on-month and an increase of 18% over the same period in 2024. Among them, the number of business passengers on highways was 34.36 million, an increase of 1.3% month-on-month, an increase of 7.3% over the same period in 2024; the number of non-commercial passenger buses on expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways was 151.38 million, an increase of 2% month-on-month, an increase of 20.7% over the same period in 2024.
The water passenger volume was 710,000, an increase of 0.1% month-on-month and 39.5% over the same period in 2024.
The civil aviation passenger volume was 2.2578 million, an increase of 2.02% month-on-month and 12.73% over the same period in 2024.
