CCTV News: According to the Reporting Center of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Office, in January 2025, the Reporting Center of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Office guided the reporting departments and major website platforms across the country to accept 16.916 million illegal and bad information such as pornography, gambling, infringement, rumors, etc., a decrease of 6.2% month-on-month and 8.8% year-on-year. Among them, the Reporting Center of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Office accepted 361,000 reports, a month-on-month decrease of 15.7% and a year-on-year decrease of 24.1%; the Internet Information Reporting Departments in various places accepted 784,000 reports, a month-on-month decrease of 21.1% and a year-on-year decrease of 16.4%; the main website platforms across the country accepted 15.771,000 reports, a month-on-month decrease of 5.1% and a year-on-year decrease of 7.9%.

Among the reports received by major website platforms across the country, the number of major commercial website platforms accepted 14.647 million, accounting for 92.9%.
