More than 13 million units! The construction of national charging infrastructure is on the "fast lane"

Data released by the China Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Promotion Alliance today (17th) shows that the number of charging infrastructure nationwide exceeds 13 million.

The latest data shows that as of the end of January 2025, the cumulative number of charging infrastructure nationwide was 13.213 million units, an increase of 49.1% year-on-year. In January, the increase in charging infrastructure was 395,000 units, an increase of 49.5% year-on-year. Among them, the increase in public charging piles was 181,000, an increase of 222.5% year-on-year, and the increase in private charging piles built with vehicles was 214,000, an increase of 2.9% year-on-year.

The China Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Promotion Alliance stated that my country's charging infrastructure construction can basically meet the rapid development of new energy vehicles. Public charging piles built in 10 regions including Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Shandong, etc., with relatively concentrated public charging infrastructure construction areas, account for 67.9%.
