Data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers today (17th) shows that in January 2025, my country's automobile industry ushered in a stable start.
The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers stated that in January this year, my country's automobile industry generally maintained stable operation. Among them, passenger cars continued to perform well, with production and sales both increasing year-on-year. New energy vehicle production, sales and automobile exports continue to perform well.
The latest data shows that in January, passenger car production and sales reached 2.151 million and 2.133 million, respectively, an increase of 3.3% and 0.8% year-on-year respectively.
The production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 1.015 million and 944,000 respectively, an increase of 29% and 29.4% year-on-year respectively, and the sales of new energy vehicles reached 38.9% of the total sales of new automobiles.
In terms of exports, the total export of automobiles was 470,000, an increase of 6.1% year-on-year. Among them, 150,000 new energy vehicles were exported, an increase of 49.6% year-on-year.
