CCTV News: In the past two days, primary and secondary schools in various places have started one after another, and the surrounding areas of campus will usher in a peak in traffic flow and people flow. The Traffic Management Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security recently issued a safety reminder.

First of all, students who walk to and from school should concentrate and not be "head-down people" during the walk. When crossing the road, you must walk on the zebra crossing. Do not suddenly cross the road when the car is approaching, and do not overturn the isolation guardrail.

Students and parents who ride electric vehicles and motorcycles, please be careful to wear "safety helmets" correctly. Electric bicycles are only allowed to carry one child below 1.2 meters in height. You must go their own way, do not run red lights or go against the trend, and stay away from the blind spots of large vehicles.

According to the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China", driving a bicycle must be at least 12 years old; driving an electric bicycle must be at least 16 years old; pulling, climbing or being pulled by other vehicles, and not leaving the handle or holding objects in your hands.

Parents who drive private cars to pick up and drop off students must pay attention to planning their travel routes in advance, reserve enough time, and both drivers and passengers must wear seat belts. If you are picking up and dropping off younger children, you should also use child safety seats correctly. Parents should lock the vehicle's child safety lock during driving to prevent children from opening the car door by themselves. When picking up and dropping off children, you must obey the command of the "school care post" personnel and achieve "stop and leave". It is particularly important to note that parents must remind their children to open the gap when getting off the car and observe first, and beware of "open the door and kill" accidents.

Some students choose to take the school bus to and from school. It is recommended that students sit firmly while tying their seat belts during the vehicle, and do not play and fight, so as not to cause danger.
