On February 16, a large fixed-wing drone loaded with fresh lamb took off from Yuyang Mahe General Airport in Yulin, Shaanxi Province. After 2 hours and 47 minutes of flight, it landed smoothly at Xi'an Lantian General Airport. This marks the successful first flight of the large-scale drone intercity low-altitude logistics route from Yulin to Xi'an.

The drone for this maiden voyage is a large cargo drone independently developed by my country. It has a maximum load capacity of 1.5 tons, a single range can cover 1,200 kilometers, and is equipped with an intelligent perception and autonomous obstacle avoidance system. It has the ability to navigate at night, achieving unmanned operation in the entire process under complex meteorological conditions. The distance from Yulin to Lantian is 540 kilometers, and the entire flight is less than 3 hours, saving more than 70% of time than traditional land transportation.
