CCTV News: According to the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the case of Qin Rupei, former member of the Standing Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee and former vice chairman of the Autonomous Region People's Government, was investigated and prosecuted by the National Supervisory Commission and approved by the Deyang Municipal People's Procuratorate of Sichuan Province. Recently, the Deyang Municipal People's Procuratorate has filed a public prosecution with the Deyang Intermediate People's Court.
The procuratorate informed the defendant Qin Rupei of the litigation rights enjoyed in accordance with the law during the review and prosecution stage, interrogated the defendant, and listened to the opinions of the defense lawyer. The procuratorate prosecution accused: Qin Rupei used his position as deputy secretary, district mayor, district party secretary of Baiyun District Party Committee of Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, deputy secretary of Guiyang Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, deputy secretary of the Bijie Prefectural Committee and specialist of the Administrative Office, secretary of the Bijie Prefectural Committee, secretary of the Bijie Prefectural Committee, secretary of the Bijie Prefectural Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, deputy governor, secretary of the Gui'an New District Party Working Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee, vice chairman of the Autonomous Region People's Government, secretary of the Party Committee of the Autonomous Region State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and other convenient conditions for others to seek benefits in project contracting, business operations, work transfers, etc., and illegally accepts property given by others in a particularly huge amount. He should be held criminally responsible for accepting bribes according to law.
