All land space master plans for super large and megacities have been approved

CCTV News (News Network): The reporter recently learned from the Ministry of Natural Resources that the "Wuhan Land and Space Master Plan (2021-2035)" has received a national approval. So far, the overall land space master plans for 22 megacities have been approved, marking that the spatial blueprint for the future development of key cities in my country has been drawn up.

The Ministry of Natural Resources stated that through this round of planning, the role of the regional development engine of megacities will be played, leading the formation of a multi-center, networked, open and intensive regional development pattern, and promoting the formation of a new urbanization pattern with urban agglomerations and metropolitan areas as the main forms.

It is understood that at present, the preparation and approval of the land and space master plan at all levels across the country has been basically completed, and the land and space planning work has entered the stage of full implementation.
