CCTV News: According to @Shanghai Maritime Affairs Weibo, at 13:45 on February 15, the Huangpu Maritime Affairs Bureau received a report that the "Captain 8" ship berthed at the Yangjiadu Wharf of Huangpu River in Shanghai (affiliated with Shanghai Happy Captain Cruise Co., Ltd., with a registered port in Shanghai, with a total tonnage of 1,627 crew members on duty) suddenly broke out. When the fire occurred, the ship was in non-operating state and there were no passengers on board. The maritime department, together with the fire protection, public security and other departments, carried out on-site handling as soon as possible, and assigned two coast patrol boats and one emergency tugboat to maintain safe and smooth navigation and prevent secondary accidents. After disposal, the fire has been controlled, three crew members were evacuated safely, and one crew member was rescued and sent to the hospital. At present, the cause of the fire is under investigation.
