Xing Chao, deputy director of the Medical Administration Department of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, introduced that in recent years, the accessibility, fairness and sustainability of grassroots traditional Chinese medicine services have been continuously strengthened.

The connotation of traditional Chinese medicine clinics has been improved to achieve "from something to excellent". my country continues to carry out projects such as training of rural orders for traditional Chinese medicine, training of backbone talents of traditional Chinese medicine clinics, and construction of grassroots famous old traditional Chinese medicine experts' heritage studios; training and promotion of 6 categories of more than 10 suitable Chinese medicine technologies, and the proportion of community health service centers and township health centers that can provide suitable Chinese medicine technologies has increased to 98%.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Center also gives full play to the unique role of traditional Chinese medicine in public health services, carries out traditional Chinese medicine physical identification services for the elderly and traditional Chinese medicine health guidance for children, and provides traditional Chinese medicine health management services.

According to reports, after the work experience in the construction of traditional Chinese medicine clinics was promoted nationwide, some places have actively promoted the upgrading of the construction of traditional Chinese medicine clinics.

"Since 2012, we have established special funds for the construction of traditional Chinese medicine clinics for 13 consecutive years, and have invested a total of 220 million yuan to build 1,786 traditional Chinese medicine clinics. In 2018, we achieved full coverage of traditional Chinese medicine clinics in the province's primary medical service institutions."
