The giant panda "Yongming", pedigree number 390, male, born on September 14, 1992. At the age of two, he traveled across the ocean to Shirahama Wildlife Park in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan, opening a new chapter in the international protection cooperation of giant pandas.
It has created the largest giant panda family overseas, "Ham Family", and has successively won the honors of "The highest award in Japan's Animal Award" and "China-Japan Friendship Envoy".
In February 2023, it returned to its hometown with its twin daughters "Yingabang" and "Taoba" and settled in the Panda Base Hero Farm.
It is the world's first autumn breeding and winter birthing. It is the holder of the record of the most natural breeding offspring overseas. It is one of the "100-year-old" giant pandas.
